Case Study 1 – Portfolio Programme Management of multiple Projects

A national plc needed a clearer understanding and visibility of its investment portfolio across the UK. Sytac consultants developed a process of management and reporting of the 78 capital investment initiatives totalling £9.3 million that were in progress. The process enabled the Board to see that the subsidiaries were managing for value and delivering quality on time, to budget for complex solutions in a simple manner.

Case Study 2 – Programme Management

A national producer and distributor of building products realised it needed to move from its ageing legacy IT systems to SAP R/3. Sytac consultants developed and successfully implemented the seamless transition to the new systems and processes for 14 sales offices, 13 production plants and 36 distribution sites. Making this change happen in a very short space of time, with little or no impact to customer service were the critical success factors.

Case Study 3 – Programme Management

A national business services company had identified the need to replace its legacy systems. Sytac consultants successfully managed the £20 million programme of work to replace their legacy systems with SAP R/3. This programme covered the technical and technology upgrades required along with the business process changes that were critical to the success of the whole programme.

Case Study 4 – Project Management

One of UK’s largest airlines needed to relocate it’s operations within Heathrow at the same time as outsourcing the management of it’s business critical computer systems (check in and bookings). Sytac consultants project managed the two simultaneous migrations seamlessly with no impact on either customers or the daily operations within Heathrow Airport.
