Change Management Case Studies
Sytac consultants work as the catalysts for making change happen in your business.
They have the proven balance of soft skills and professional drive to facilitate implementing and achieving sustainable behavioural change in the workplace. Their knowledge and experience of developing and then executing organisational realignments across a whole range of industry sectors is invaluable in improving business performance.
Case Study 1 – Workforce reduction
A newly implemented national distribution centre had not realised the cost savings that were projected in terms of both temporary and permanent staff. Sytac consultants conducted an operational review with the management and facilitated the introduction of new working practices which reduced headcount by 45 FTE’s within 8 weeks. They subsequently developed and facilitated a redundancy programme for 150 staff over a 3 month period without impacting either performance in the workplace or customer service.
Case Study 2 – New Systems Implementation
A national producer and distributor of building products realised it needed to move from it’s ageing legacy IT systems to SAP R/3. Sytac consultants developed and successfully implemented the seamless transition to the new systems and processes for 14 sales offices, 13 production plants and 36 distribution sites. Making this change happen in a very short space of time, with little or no impact to customer service were the critical success factors.
Case Study 3 – Mergers and Acquisitions
A national office products supplier had grown aggressively through acquisition but needed to realise the savings upon which their investment was based. Sytac consultants led and facilitated the integration programme of the 5 acquired companies, centralising and rationalising numerous management and operational functions. The methodology of implementing this change was essential in developing the “new” group culture, ensuring that the behavioural change of both the management and workforce was sustainable and permanent.
